How each lesson works

Every lesson goes from single keys to words, sentences and a short exam, and only uses keys you have already learned. The on-screen keyboard lights up the next key, animated hands show which finger presses it, and you earn up to three stars per exercise for accuracy.

How do I increase my typing speed?

Keep your accuracy above 95% and practise a little every day. Speed comes from typing common words as one smooth movement, so drills of frequent words and phrases help most.

What is a good typing speed?

Many adults type around 40 WPM. 60 WPM is fast, and 80 WPM or more is professional level.
