Free numbers typing course

This number typing course teaches the top-row digits 1 to 0 without looking down. You learn which finger presses each number key, then practise dates, amounts, phone numbers and numbers mixed into text.

How each lesson works

Every lesson goes from single keys to words, sentences and a short exam, and only uses keys you have already learned. The on-screen keyboard lights up the next key, animated hands show which finger presses it, and you earn up to three stars per exercise for accuracy.

Which finger types each number key?

Each finger reaches up from its home key: the left little finger types 1, ring finger 2, middle finger 3 and index finger 4 and 5. The right index finger types 6 and 7, middle finger 8, ring finger 9 and little finger 0.
